Fan Interaction: Deadmau5 Collaborates with Fan viaTweet

While live streaming himself working on his newest track, multiple-Grammy nominated electronic artist Deadmau5 received a Tweet from a loyal fan, who sent him a link of a sample of the unfinished single with the fan’s vocals dubbed over it.

After giving the track a listen, Deadmau5 was not only impressed with the way it sounded, but contacted the fan to work with him on the full length track.

“Dude, let’s do it…give me your number or whatever…that just made the track.”

Deadmau5 immediately found the fan’s phone number, contacted him personally and arranged an agreement with his manager, all live on the internet.

The track, “The Veldt,” is inspired by the sci-fi short story written by Ray Bradbury.
