Hunger Games Soundtrack to Feature Decemberists & Arcade Fire

From Garden State to Twilight, major motion pictures have taken a liking to alternative music for their soundtracks. The newest book-to-movie blockbuster, The Hunger Games, features new music from Arcade Fire, the Decemberists, and many others.

Arcade Fire’s newest single, Abrahams Daughter recently leaked online, showing a darker and more haunting side to the indie-rock group, while the Decemberists’ new track is an upbeat, more rock-influenced track titled One Engine.

The soundtrack also features new music from Neko Case, the Civil Wars, and much more. The soundtrack is slated for release on March 20th, shortly before the release of the motion picture in theaters. Get more info HERE
