Greek Life

Rogers State University is growing and so is Greek Life. Since RSU’s first Greek organization in 2005, the number of sororities and fraternities on RSU’s campus has grown to two each. All four organizations are dedicated to hard work and community service.

Alpha Sigma Tau and Alpha Sigma Alpha Sororities have been involved in various school events and community service projects since being chartered in 2005 and 2009, respectively. Recently, the university added two fraternities to its roster. Kappa Sigma Fraternity was welcomed last fall, and Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity made its debut in early August.

Being involved in a sorority or fraternity includes building upon the four pillars of Greek Life: leadership, scholarship, service, and brotherhood/sisterhood. A general goal of Greek organizations is to shape young adults into leaders of tomorrow, while making a difference in the lives of others. Sororities and fraternities dedicate their time to local and national philanthropies such as Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
