Theatre at RSU is gearing up for another semester of great shows. The season begins with performances of “Home” March 7-8 and “Arsenic and Old Lace” April 11-13 and 18-20.

“American Home” is a new play about Americans forced to renegotiate the American Dream, the extremes people go to when faced with losing everything and the resilience of the American spirit. It was the winner of Chicago’s American Blues Theater’s 2011 Blue Ink Award for Playwriting.

“Arsenic and Old Lace” is a dark comedic farce revolving around Mortimer Brewster, a drama critic, who must juggle the responsibilities thrust upon him by his job, his fiancé, his crazy aunts, his homicidal uncle, and the Brooklyn Police Department.
