RSU Comm students receive honors

On Wednesday, all of RSU Radio’s student staff and a few others attended the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters and the Oklahoma Broadcast Education Association student awards luncheon and ceremony in Oklahoma City at the Will Rogers Theatre. We attended a job fair where we were able to make a lot of great connections and also enjoyed a nice lunch and presentation from OKC Mayor Mick Cornett. RSU’s Got Talent!

Are you talented? Do you have a talent you would like to share? RSU Theatre Presents First Performance of 2013

RSU Theatre is presenting its first performance of 2013 this Thursday and Friday with a reading of American Home. The play by Stephanie Alison Walker will be held in the Baird Hall Performance Studio on the 7th and 8th at 7:07 in the evening. American Home gives us a look into the lives of three people who are being affected by the looming economic crisis. Audiences will see a wife, an elderly widow, and a wealthy evangelist struggle with letting go of part of their lives while trying to maintain a strong spirit.…continue reading →

KCACTF: David’s Take

Hey there David Prock here in Shreveport, LA with Josh and Garrett. We’ve had a great week taking part in Kennedy Center of American College Theatre Festival. Many have had the chance to participate in acting and directing workshops and we’ve seen a variety of productions with great performances. KCACTF: Performing & Performances

Hey everyone! Garrett, David and Josh here checking in from KCACTF. It’s been a full week, and now that our performances are all done, it’s been time to do some workshops and watch some really great plays. Wednesday night we performed David and Josh’s selected “Sleepy Hollow” scene at the beautiful Strand Theatre in front of many people.
