Edward Sharpe Takes On the Beatles

'Beatles Reimagined', a new album to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Beatles hits from 1963-64 will be released this week featuring Edward Sharp and the Magnetic Zeroes as well a collection of up-and-coming artists. What makes this collection unique and interesting is not only hearing new artists perform Beatles classics, but hearing brand new interpretations of songs such as "I Wanna Be Your Man", "All My Loving", and more. Mumford and Sons to Take Hiatus

Since their formation in 2007, folk-rock band Mumford and Sons has released two albums, obtained international fame, won a Grammy, and toured almost non-stop. It would seem that the Gentlemen of the Road have managed to run themselves a little ragged when on September 20th they announced an indefinite hiatus for a “considerable amount of time”. Jam Band is coming back to Rogers State University! Jam Band will return this week on Friday at 7PM in the Will Rogers Auditorium at RSU. This marks the 6th year since the last time the event was hosted. RSU welcomes Weird Al!

It took 25 years, but yesterday, September 24th, “Weird Al” Yankovic came back to Tulsa and spent the day at Rogers State University meeting students, being interviewed on RSU Radio and promoting the 25th anniversary of his movie “UHF”, as well as his second children’s book.
