Tulsa fair

This marks the 78th year, Tulsa hosts its’ largest annual event …the Tulsa State Fair! Known as one of Oklahoma’s premier events, the Tulsa State Fair entertains all ages with carnival rides, midway games, attractions, free concerts, creative art displays and don’t forget the food!

First held in 1935, the Tulsa State Fair has become as much entertainment as it is carnival rides and cotton candy. Free concerts are held each day on three stages, grounds entertainment, exhibitions and stage shows. In addition to the music, check out the variety of agricultural exhibits, kitchen demos and vendor booths as well as horticultural and baked goods exhibits. The Tulsa State Fair will also see a return of the event’s livestock shows, horse shows and junior livestock auction.

There’s a lot of activities for kids at the fair including this year’s “Disney on Ice” performance….a trip through the fair’s petting zoo, activity centers and creative stations and the PRCA Rodeo where you will see cowboys and cowgirls compete in barrel racing, team roping and bull riding. The fair will also host a variety of daily contests including cookie stacking and pie eating.

The Tulsa State Fair has something for everyone… attendance shows that… Thousands of people visit a day with over one million during its 10-day stay. Did I mention the great food?
