Zombies

The week of October 21st – 25th sign up for the “Human vs. Zombies” games from 9a m to 3pm in the Centennial Center Rotunda. The games will be held the following week on the campus of RSU.

The week of October 27th – 31st students, staff, faculty and even the administration should watch when they leave their buildings, look behind every shrub, TRUST NO ONE, because the Zombies are out and it’s their first night….EVERYONE IS VUNERABLE As the week goes by, our suggestion to you is to go NOWHERE ALONE…. especially on the RSU campus. This horrifying event is being sponsored by the C-I-A or otherwise known as the Christians in Action.

BEWARE! It could only get worse as the week goes by! On Monday, October 28th, the RSU Biology Club is sponsoring “Not Your Momma’s Pandemic” in Loshbaugh #204. Apparently, students will be infected with a pathogen and must trace back through the infected to “Patient Zero” who is apparently the original vector of the zombie epidemic. TRUST NO ONE!

The following day (if you are still here with us) the Biology Club) is sponsoring a “Bloody Good” Bake Sale from 9am to 1pm in the Centennial Center and the Stratton Taylor Library. You guessed it! It is going to be a ZOMBIE THEMED BAKE SALE to help raised funds for future field trips, events and academic opportunities for the Biology Club.

And, then on all Hallows Eve, Thursday, October 31st the C-I-A aka Christians in Action will host a “Zombie Prom” beginning at 7pm in the Centennial Center Ballroom. You must dress the part (even if you are still a human pretending to be a zombie, you must dress the part as a zombie!)

But wait…there’s more, I know you can’t take it… but you must…..you must try…at least one more time. It is called the “day of the dead” or “Dia de los Muertos” and it will be celebrated on Friday, November 1st from 12N to 5pm on the Centennial Center lawn. Come and learn about the traditions of one of the oldest holidays in history! Have some refreshments! Listen to some Hispanic music! The Spanish Club is sponsoring the event and is asking everyone to bring one canned food item or one non-perishable food item for their food drive. The club will be serving “walking tacos” while supplies last along with hot beverages… as well as face painting for only $1.00. Good luck….but beware!
