Don White pays tribute to Steve Pryor on ” Good Morning Tulsa”

Don White, singer/songwriter and host of RSU Radio’s “The Don White” show was featured on Friday morning’s broadcast of “Good Morning Tulsa”. White is promoting “The tribute to Steve Pryor” benefit concert tonight at the Cain’s ballroom. He along with a number of other singer/songwriters will be performing.White Today

Steve Pryor was a veteran Tulsa musician who passed away as a result of a motorcycle accident on May 7th, 2016. Pryor was known for his limitless talent on the guitar. Locals would flock to his shows when they wanted to hear a sweet mixture of blues and rock music. Pryor toured with the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Joe Cocker and the Paul Butterfield Blues Band. He was ruthless when he was shredding on his guitar, but relaxed and revitalizing when he was hanging out with his friends and fans. He was a special musician who left his remarkable imprint on the Tulsa music scene.

Doors open at 7pm and tickets are $10 each. Oklahoma Joes will be selling barbecue.
