Broken Arrow’s new Rose District opened for a preview to a walking tour hosted by Tulsa Young Professionals and the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce this week. Mayor Craig Thurmond was on hand to welcome visitors to Broken Arrow’s reimagined and recently renovated downtown area on Main Street. New Comedy in Tulsa

Tulsa’s newest destination for comedy opened with a bang last week and featured several unique performances and showcased a lot of local talent. Comic Con comes to Tulsa

Comic Con is making its first appearance in Tulsa and bringing the stars with them! Wizard World Comic Con, one of the world's largest comic conventions, will be in Tulsa at the Cox Convention Center November 7-9, 2014, and they've just announced their first batch of stars that will make the trip. George Takei will perform with OKC Philharmonic

George Takei, best known for his portrayal of Mr. Sulu in the Star Trek franchise will be in Star Trek franchise will be in Oklahoma City this weekend for the OKC Philharmonic's Pop series concert. Takei will narrate the "Sci-Fi Spectacular" show that will feature music from popular science fiction soundtracks. Takei's presence will work to enhance the music performed as well as present a draw to the public. The show will be held Friday and Saturday night at the OKC Civic Center Music Hall. Students display art at new RSU show

via press release: Rogers State University's annual Department of Fine Arts Student Show and Sale will open Wednesday, Oct. 30 at noon in the Foundations Gallery on the Claremore campus. The show, which includes everything from pottery to paintings, officially kicks off with an informal reception opening night at 5 p.m. and runs through Nov. 30. Students set the prices. Festival Fundraiser for Tulsa Girl

via Press Release: Kelsey Ledford is a victim of Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome. WPW syndrome is a heart condition in which there is an abnormal extra electrical pathway of the heart.
