Claremore Celebrates With A Number of Events

A number of celebrations will be held in Claremore around the 4th of July weekend. The Ministerial Alliance is hosting a "Freedom Celebration" at the Robson Performing Arts Center Monday, July 2nd beginning at 7:30pm. Claremore's 4th of July Fireworks Celebration will be on Tuesday, July 3rd at the Claremore Lake. The park opens at 6pm with live entertainment beginning at 7pm. RSU Radio 91.3 FM always enjoys hearing and promoting the local bands in the Oklahoma music scene. Local music is not only a "corner stone" of RSU Radio, but in fact, a community among itself. Maryland DeathFest In Review

Hey, RSU Radio fans! It's Dr. Drewcifer of the Industrial Complex and I recently attended the extreme metal Mecca known as Maryland Deathfest. For the past ten years, metalheads worldwide have congregated in Baltimore every May for the country's premier underground metal party. RSU Theatre Director’s Play Adaptation at Tulsa PAC

RSU’s Theatre Director David Blakely has an exciting week ahead of him as his adaption of "Hank the Cowdog and Monkey Business" opens at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center. Blakely’s adaptation of the children’s book can be seen Thursday, June 21st through Sunday the 24th. 34th Annual Black Gold Days

Glenpool celebrates a historic local event with the 34th annual Black Gold Days. The event celebrates Glenpool’s discovery of oil in 1905 and is held at the fittingly named Black Gold Park. The celebration includes a carnival, live music, a parade, and the all-new Mr. and Miss Black Gold Pageant. Black Gold Days opens on the June 14 with a carnival and the new pageant.
