Rose District

Broken Arrow’s new Rose District opened for a preview to a walking tour hosted by Tulsa Young Professionals and the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce this week. Mayor Craig Thurmond was on hand to welcome visitors to Broken Arrow’s reimagined and recently renovated downtown area on Main Street.

Main Street Tavern has served as the anchor to the Rose District as other developers began to consider a move. In that time, Bruhouse Grill relocated from it’s home on Brookside to Broken Arrow because of the investments that the city has made in the area. The Rose District has also seen the addition of Spokehouse Bikes, a soon to be built In the Raw, and plans for a rooftop sports bar that will project sporting events onto an outdoor wall.

One of the more exciting things about the new Rose District is the zoning that the city council did to allow patrons to carry their beer down the street from one bar to another. This elicited a very enthusiastic response from those on the tour.
