RSU breaks ground again…..

RSU officially broke ground for a 3rd housing complex expected to complete by fall 2015. The complex will house 312 students in a more “dorm like” atmosphere with a kitchen and laundry facility on the main level and three study areas and lounges on each floor. Campus housing has been a growing concern for the past five years or so, even after the opening the 255-bed University Village B in 2011. That’s right…on Saturday, April 26th, at 8pm; a public screening of the movie will be shown outdoors on the lawn of RSU’s Will Rogers Auditorium on the Claremore campus. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and whatever else you need to be comfortable outside. Popcorn, beverages and glowsticks will be available for purchase. A smash hit in 1981, "Raiders of the Lost Ark" launched the Indiana Jones franchise and cemented Harrison Ford's status as a super star. Symphony to perform at RSU

It promises to be everything from classical to modern movie themes on Saturday, March 15th as the Rogers State University Music Program partners with the Claremore Symphony League to host a concert by the Tulsa Symphony Brass Quintet and Woodwind Quintet. Following the concert, a "Meet and Greet" reception will be held in the Foundations Art Gallery located in Baird Hall. Refreshments will be served. 2nd Annual Outdoor Sporting Expo

It’s time again for the 2nd Annual Outdoor Sporting Expo in Claremore! It’s going to be three fun-filled days with seminars on duck and fly fishing, boating safety, archery and bass tub competitions. In addition to the demonstrations, “Animal Planet’s” Jimmy Riffle and the Gator Boy Road show will amaze you with his gator tricks. Foo Fighters back in the Studio

It’s back to the studio for the "Foo Fighters” as they get ready to record their 8th album. To date, they haven’t said much about the type of album it’s going to be. Guitarist and songwriter Dave Grohl says they’re going to do something different that no one really knows about and he hope this new concept is going to take people by surprise.
