The Cure Announce 2016 North American Tour

The Cure have announced 26 shows in 22 North American cities in 2016, with one yet to be announced in Seattle, Washington. The tour takes them from New Orleans to the West Coast, north to Canada, before making its way to an end in Florida. Nearby stops include Austin on May 13, Houston on May 14, Dallas on May 15, El Paso on May 17, and Kansas City on June 8. This tour is the band’s first major North American tour since 2008. Norman Music Festival Announces 2016 Headliners

Oklahoma’s free music institution, Norman Music Festival, has announced their first round of headliners for 2016. The initial lineup includes the indie rockers Cloud Nothings, garage punk band Nobunny, synthpop band Small Black, hip hop artist Open Mike Eagle, and the OKC rock scene mainstays Traindodge. Norman Music Festival 9 will take place April 21, 22, and 23 across clubs and outdoor stages in downtown Norman, Oklahoma.
