American Idol: OKC or Bust!

Singers who are aspiring to become the next big thing can put their talents to the test as American Idol makes its way to Oklahoma City’s Chesapeake Energy Arena on July 18th through the 20th.

The singing competition’s producers and famous judges are looking for fresh faces for season 12, which will begin airing on FOX early next year.

Singers who are interested in auditioning for coveted trips to Hollywood will need to register on Wednesday, July 18th or Thursday the 19th at the arena. Auditions begin on Friday the 20th, with those who impress the judges making their way to Hollywood in hopes of becoming the next American Idol.

For those of you who make your way to OKC for the big event, there’s a chance you’ll have to wait outside. Be sure to bring a hat, wear sunscreen, and drink plenty of water.
