Cold Turkey Mountain Bike Festival
The third annual Art on the Hill is returning to Rogers State University this Friday and Saturday (Sept. 28-29). From art demonstrations to concerts and plays, there are a variety of activities at this year’s event.
Art on the Hill will feature exhibits of original artwork by area artists, as well as high school and college students. Professors from RSU’s Fine Arts Department will be presenting art demonstrations, including screen printing, wheel-throwing, solar printing, and clay hand building.
Local musicians will also perform live on both days of the event. RSU alumni Kalyn Barnoski will perform on Friday, along with Jazz Jam Band and RSU’s Got Talent winner Awaiting Fate. Saturday’s performances will include Blue Fire Foley, “Bitter Sweet” Celtic Music, and the 5th annual Claremore Celtic Music Festival.
The RSU Theatre Program will contribute to this year’s festival with performances of Original Recipe, a series of five ten-minute plays that will be performed each day.
Art on the Hill is free and open to the public. For a full schedule of events, check out RSU.EDU
