Want to see some good basketball? The RSU Athletics staff will take on the Claremore Community all-stars at the “William W. Barnes Children’s Advocacy Center Charity Basketball Game” on Sunday beginning at 2pm at the Expo Center.

The Children’s Advocacy Center is a non-profit, United Way Agency whose mission is to reduce the trauma of child abuse. The Center provides forensic interviews, medical evaluations and mental health treatment in a safe, child-friendly environment. The Center has been in existence since 2001 and serves over 200 children annually from Rogers, Mayes, and Craig Counties.

Tickets can be purchased in advanced or at the door. General admission is $5 and RSU students are $2 with their school ID. Children, five years old and younger, receive free admission.

In addition to the game, people can bid for some great gifts at the halftime live auction including “A Boot Scootin’ Steak Dinner for eight hosted by RSU President and Mrs. Larry Rice”. Other items will be raffled throughout the game including a 50″ flat screen TV, two $50 Reasors gift cards, two $50 gas cards from Quik Trip, and rounds of golf donated by Heritage Hills Golf Course.
