Festival Fundraiser for Tulsa Girl

Kelsey Ledford is a victim of Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome. WPW syndrome is a heart condition in which there is an abnormal extra electrical pathway of the heart. Persons with this syndrome may have symptoms such as: chest pains, dizziness, light headedness, fainting spells, palpitations, shortness of breath, and can even cause sudden death.

Kelsey was born with WPW and while it had remained in a hibernated state, this syndrome has raised its ugly head. Now she is expected to undergo heart surgery. Kelsey is a vibrant 14 year old girl who loves family, friends, and music. Her father, Charlie Ledford, is the drummer for the Tulsa band, Searching 4 Sanity. Kelsey has always put her health aside to be at any all ages event that involved local bands. Now it is time for the local music scene to show support for Kelsey.

Fist of Rage, along with Attikus Entertainment and Rooster and Rose, have joined forces to assemble FISTIVAL for Kelsey. Efforts throughout the region are being made to raise money to help her and her family while she endures this procedure. Fistival is Oct 19th, a one day outdoor event, located at Rooster and Rose off highway 412/64 near Keystone Lake. It is an all ages event with activities that include live music, bike show, karaoke contest, Jupiter jumps, merchandise, dunk tank, 50/50 raffles, guitar raffle, food, drinks, beer, and giveaways. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the gate or VIP packages are available. Tickets can be purchased from Rooster and Rose, band members, as well as purchased online at stubwire.com. Donation jars will be set up throughout the community as well as at the event. Lawn chairs are welcome and encouraged. No outside food/drinks, coolers, or pets allowed.
