Yea Haw! It’s the Bluegrass and Chili Festival

Get your boots on and get ready for some of the best chili around at the 36th annual bluegrass and chili festival, beginning Sept. 4th at the Expo Center in Claremore.

It’s the 36th year and some of the best national and regional artists will be performing on three different stages. Groups like Adkins and Loudermilk, Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver, Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder and Rhonda Vincent and the Rage will be performing during this three day event.

There’s some great activities for the kids too…the Junior Showcase will work with youth 21 and under, on stage exposure and experience and The Best in City Vocalist Competition is open to anyone who wants to participate.

Inside the Expo, check out the Festival Market where a variety of crafts and services will be for sale… An open car show featuring old classics to current beauties will be on display all day Saturday.

Have we forgotten anything? You’re not going to want to miss the Mid-America Regional chili cookoff and the OK Championship and Salsa competition. Taste kits will be available for purchase.
