Join us at the Block Party

The West Bend Block Party for September is upon us. Join us for this free event Tuesday afternoon between 6 and 8 for music and plenty of food trucks. RSU Radio will be giving away bundles of CDs at our tent, so stop by, say hi, and get some free music to add to your personal library.

This month’s event features folk singer Kalyn Fay and country artist Wesley Michael Hayes. Kalyn Fay is student at RSU who has been making a big name for herself by playing everywhere from intimate concerts to big festivals. Wesley Michael Hayes has been playing music for over 20 years, and continues to take his southern sound across the state of Oklahoma.

The event usually happens each third Tuesday of the month. This month’s event was pushed back a week due to the Bluegrass and Chili Festival and the Rogers County Fair. The monthly Block Party is put on by Musician’s Haven, RSU Radio, MoreClaremore.com, and the Claremore Expo Center.
