Oklahoma Well Represented at Folk Alliance International

The Oklahoma Room at Folk Alliance International has announced this year’s performances. The set of performances are curated by representative from Horton Records, the Woody Guthrie Center, and Tulsa radio program “Folk Salad”. So far, nearly 30 musicians have been announced to play this year’s event. Acts will include a selection of diverse approaches to the genre, including performances by Wink Burcham, Steve Liddell, Paul Benjaman, Cody Brewer (Grazzhopper), Jesse Aycock, Jacob Tovar, and many others.

 

Last year’s Oklahoma Room performances included some of the one talked about artists of the festival, John Moreland. Folk Alliance International will take place February 17 through 21 in Kansas City, Missouri.
