Cain’s Among Top Ticket Selling Venues Worldwide

The Cain’s Ballroom is ranked 20th in the world in ticket sales for venues of its size, according to a Pollstar report. The historic venue sold 64,599 tickets between January 1st and June 30th, 2016. This put them at number 20 for venues of a capacity of 3,000 people or less. The Cain’s has a maximum capacity of 1,800 people.

Chad Rogers, General Manager of the Cain’s Ballroom and DCF Concerts, thanked artists, fans, and staff for making the ranking happen.  “We appreciate your support, as we strive to give everyone a music experience that they’ll always remember each time they attend an event at Cain’s Ballroom” said Rogers in a press release.

Among the top venues on the mid-year list are historic clubs like the 9:30 Club in Washington D.C., Webster Hall in New York City, Stubbs Bar-B-Q in Austin, and The Fonda in Los Angeles.  The Cain’s was ranked 17th worldwide in a similar report for the first quarter of 2016.
