Wilco Announce Tulsa Tour Stop

todayJuly 20, 2017

Background

The popular genre bending band Wilco will be making a stop at the Brady Theater on September 24. The band’s latest album, Schmilco, came out in July 2016. The band has a place to request a song for a specific show on the Shows page of their website.

Original members of Wilco split off from the alt-country group Uncle Tupelo, when singer Jay Farrar left to start Son Volt. The band formed in 1994, releasing their first album in 1995. Since then, the only original member of the band has been singer and songwriter Jeff Tweedy. Throughout the 23 years, Wilco’s sound has included country, indie, rock, and folk influences. They continue to adapt their sound as they surpass they near a quarter-century of existence.

A pre-sale is available through The Brady’s Facebook page.
