Press Play: Lovely Bad Things

Lovely Bad Things sprung out of La Mirada, a town in Southern California, and is made up of a group of multi-instrumentalists and vocalists.

The band is high-energy and fun, but also has a fascinating wit about them. The songs on the album all deal with facing adulthood and yet still having the teenage urge to rebel. The album is aptly titled Teenage Grown-Ups.

This is the sophomore album from Lovely Bad Things and the group still hangs onto its alternative and punk roots. The band started out of a garage in suburban California and that sound is soaked into every song on the album.

If you are a fan of 90’s punk, catchy tunes, or the existential crises that come with adulthood, then you should PRESS PLAY on Lovely Bad Things.
