RSU Radio to Debut New Programming

New programming will be hitting the airwaves at KRSC soon. RSU Radio strives to provide unique, progressive programming that introduces new music, ideas, and cultures to our listeners. With the addition of four new shows, the station is excited to keep pushing our boundaries.

New programming will begin on Friday, February 2.

Some of the most recognizable names in alternative and indie music stop by the studio on The Guestlist. This program brings conversations, DJ sets, and performances from artists like Jessica Lea Mayfield, Run the Jewels, Warpaint, and Jason Isbell. The Guestlist will air Friday afternoons at 6.

 

 

Blues America features interviews performances from some of the most soulful performers in blues music. Host Drew Verbis has been active in the blues community as a musician, producer, and lover of the sound. The show will air Saturdays at noon.

 

 

Go back to school, and learn about some of the best in contemporary and classic rock. Hosts Joe and Tammy Burns create themed shows that are both educational and entertaining. Rock School airs Sundays at 3 pm.

 

 

Alternative music comes from all across the globe. The Latin Alternative plays music from Latin artists who you won’t hear anywhere else. Listeners will hear rock, hip hop, funk, and electronic music. This program will air Wednesdays from 10 pm to 11 pm.
