“Calliope Musicals” Chats with RSU Radio

Look no further than Calliope Musicals for your dose of upbeat, feel-good music. The psych-folk group from Austin, Texas is known for their high energy live performances complete with confetti. The band has won well-earned awards such as “Band of the Year” at the Austin Music Awards in 2016 and Austin Chronicle’s “Best New Band” in 2015. They recently signed with Rhyme and Reason Records, so we should be getting announcements on new music soon. RSU Radio got to chat with Calliope Musicals about what to expect in their next album.

Calliope Musicals were on the road during our phone interview with them. They are currently on their Stray Cats Tour, which started in New York in July and will wrap up here in Tulsa on August 12 at Blackbird on Pearl.
