This Thursday at 6, RSU Radio and the Student Broadcasting Association are putting on a free outdoor concert under the Big Tent on the Taylor Center Lawn, known as CHILLOUT 2018!
Swing by to hear music from local indie bands New Time Zones and Roots of Thought!

Opening the event is Stillwater-based band New Time Zones. In 2017, the band released their debut EP Silhouettes at a Distance.
In the year since the album’s release, New Time Zones became the Oklahoma Finalists in the national Next2Rock 2017 competition and landed a spot at Norman Music Festival in April 2018. And, coming this October, New Time Zones plans to release their follow-up EP titled Stage One.
Closing out CHILLOUT will be the much-loved Tulsa band Roots of Thought. After several years of performing locally, the indie psyche pop band released their debut EP Familiar Feelings in 2017.
They have since toured the Midwest and have gained a loyal following in Tulsa and surrounding cities. This April, Roots of Thought released the single “Powdered Donut.”
