The Horton Records 5th Annual Rock’n Folk’n Chili Cook-Off is almost here! Brian Horton, the president of Horton Records, stopped by the studio for an interview to talk about the event that has become a Tulsa tradition. You can hear the interview below.
The event will include live music, live art, raffles, silent auctions, and of course, chili samples from Tulsa-area restaurants and local musicians. You can hear live music from Jacob Tovar, Paul Banjaman, John Fullbright, Jesse Aycock, Dustin Pittsley, Levi Parham, Branjae, Brad James Band, and all the way from France, Dom Ferrer.
Horton Records has been posting daily on the Facebook event page. You can find videos of the artists that will be playing and more information on the businesses that are sponsors or entering the chili cook-off. If you want to stay up to date on details of the event, you can find it here.
You can buy your tickets on the Cain’s website or at the door. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Military and students get a discount with tickets at $12. Or, if you donate any non-perishable food item to benefit the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma or donate a cost the day of the show you will receive $15 admission and a free raffle entry!
