New Time Zones IN STUDIO

New Time Zones is a band out of Tulsa that is bringing some fresh energy to the Oklahoma indie rock scene. They released their second EP, called Stage One, in late October. Justin Shelton, who is their lead vocalist, and their guitarist, David Rey, stopped by our studio recently to talk about Stage One.

In this interview, Justin and David discuss the change of pace between Silhouettes at a Distance, their debut release, and Stage One. We also talk about their influences behind each release and the return of what the band likes in their sound. They were also kind enough to bring a guitar and play a couple of acoustic versions of songs from Stage One. You can hear them play “Reflexions” below.
