The Tulsa American Film Festival Returns Tomorrow

The 5th annual Tulsa American Film Festival kicks off tomorrow and will continue throughout the weekend before concluding on Sunday. Their programming includes new independent works with special focuses on Latino American, Native American, and Oklahoma-based films. The festival also showcases student films and regionally-relevant classics.

The festival will have panels and screenwriting events featuring professionals from across the film industry. One discussion on Friday with John Cristo and Paul Rivers will provide professional advice about scoring films. Each evening will end in a celebration of the films on display. The Saturday Night Awards and After Party will have award announcements as well as live music.

The festival will hold screenings and events in various venues in the Kendall Whittier neighborhood including Circle Cinema, Woody Guthrie Center, and Studio 75. Some events are free and open to the public but others require a ticket for admission. VIP and all-access passes are available as well as tickets for individual screenings.  You can find the festival schedule and ticket information on the TAFF website here.
