Watch Nick Cave’s Distant Sky Concert Film

In the spirit of the holiday season, Nick Cave has made his 2018 concert film Distant Sky – Live in Copenhagen available to be streamed entirely for free on YouTube. Check out the full film below.

The live performance was filmed during a significant concert event in 2017 at Denmark’s Royal Arena. The concert featured a full album performance of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds’ Skeleton Tree. They also dug up older songs from deep in their catalog, including the title track of their first album From Her to Eternity. 

Directed by David Bernard, Distant Sky was screened in cinemas around the world for one night. Later on, it was temporarily included on Nick Cave’s website. Cave announced the full release of Distant Sky in a statement on Twitter saying, “I’ve been getting many letters on The Red Hand Files asking about access to the Distant Sky Live in Copenhagen movie. Here it is! With Love at Christmas, Nick.”
