February 7th marks the day that music lovers unite to celebrate International Clash Day. In commemoration of this worldwide tribute to iconic British punk band The Clash, RSU Radio will be joining in on the festivities. The station will be serving up plenty of Clash content with a song every hour, interview clips, and a few surprises along the way. Tune in to 91.3 FM next Friday to take part in honoring one of rock music’s most legendary acts.
International Clash Day began as a celebration of The Clash’s music and legacy but has now evolved into raising awareness of the issues and message that they stood for. The Clash were unapologetic, confrontational, and advocates for the disenfranchised. The passion and social consciousness that The Clash brought to rock and roll is why this year’s International Clash Day is being used to Clash for Climate.
