Sports Team Announce Debut Album and Share New Song

Sports Team is a six-piece indie rock band from England known for their infectious, emotional anthems. They have released three EPs in the past, Winter Nets in 2018, Keep Walking and Making Hay in 2019. Today, the band announced the release of their first full-length effort Deep Down Happy. The first look at Deep Down Happy came today with cathartic new single “Here’s The Thing.” The song is undeniably Sports Team with wry lyrics and Pavement-style delivery. “Here’s The Thing” also has an accompanying music video that features frontman Alex Rice leading an existentially dreadful pep rally.
