Superorganism Cover John Lennon’s “Isolation”

Background

It seems that covering classic rock acts has been a comfort for many bands during this time of international uncertainty. John Lennon, in particular, has been getting the most attention. His track “Imagine” has been covered quite a lot over the past two months, and instead of directing you to that one incident (you know the one), check out these recent John Lennon covers by Dirty Projectors, Margo Price and Lennon Stella.

Superorganism jumped on the John Lennon bandwagon today with their new cover of “Isolation.” Recorded while quarantining, the sprawling internet pop project gathered virtually to record the cover for the French station Radio Nova. Their take is smooth and soothing with clever nods to the iconic sounds of Skype and Windows. Check out the performance below.
