Bully’s Alicia Bognanno Shares Covers of Nirvana and Orville Peck

todayMay 13, 2020

Background

On May 1st, Nashville rockers Bully shared two new covers on Bandcamp to take advantage of the platform waiving its revenue share. Today, those covers reached Spotify and Youtube.  They include the 90s Nirvana classic “About a Girl” and country-pop Orville Peck single “Turn to Hate.” Both covers are ignited by frontwoman Alicia Bognanno’s attitude and Bully’s guitar-driven grit.

On recording the covers, Bognanno said, “I played everything on these songs (for better or worse haha) and tracked them in my living room. Gotta do what ya gotta to spice it up sometimes. Anywho more soon!!” We can only hope that “more” includes a follow-up to the band’s 2017 album Losing. In the meantime, crawl under the covers below.
