Watch Christine And The Queens Perform “People, I’ve been sad”

On Thursday night Christine and the Queens appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. She gave a beautiful performance of “People, I’ve been sad” from her latest EP La Vita Nuova. Resting on a windowsill from her Paris apartment, she sang to a backing track while golden-hour light peaked through the clouds. You can watch a replay of the performance below.

It seems Christine and the Queens has spent her time in the global lockdown perfecting the art of intimate at-home performances. She’s been regularly posting livestream performances for fans.
