Record Store Day Coming This Saturday

Despite the various postponements, Record Store Day 2020 is officially upon us this Saturday. To limit the amount of customers in record stores (as this event usually yields some big numbers), Record Store Day is being separated into three drops. The first drop is this Saturday, the second is September 26th and the third is October 24th.

Tulsa record stores have been gearing up for the event and finding the best solutions for safe shopping. Josey Records has announced that they will be requiring masks, socially distant lines, as well as limiting their Record Store Day section to only ten shoppers at a time.

Studio Records will also require masks as well as temperature checks. Their Record Store Day section will be under a tent outside of the store, and the capacity is limited to six shoppers. Over on 26th and Memorial Oil Capital Vinyl is requiring masks and limiting their store’s capacity to four people at a time.

When it comes to the RSD exclusives, Josey Records is allowing one copy per person per title. Studio Records and Oil Capital Vinyl are allowing one RSD product per customer. Some exclusives include Brittany Howard’s Live At Sound Emporium, Bastille’s All This Bad Blood, and Billie Eilish’s Live At Third Man Records. Check out a complete list of Saturday’s releases here.
