todayDecember 17, 2020

Background

The Ally Coalition is an LGBTQ-focused organization founded by Rachel Antonoff, Jack Antonoff, and other members of Jack’s former band fun. The Ally Coalition aims to shed a light on injustice, calling on allies to fight discrimination and using music to mobilize fans. Each year, TAC hosts a benefit talent show, and they are taking the show virtual this year. The 7th annual benefit streams next Monday, the 21st, at 8 PM CT on Twitch.

The lineup has an impressive list of artists set to perform including Sleater-Kinney, St. Vincent, Big Red Machine, Lana Del Rey, Spoon, Brittany Howard, Tierra Whack, The Chicks, Rufus Wainwright, and Andrew Dost of fun. Hayley Williams, Wallows, and Bleachers will also be performing. Proceeds from the show will benefit six different nonprofit orgs located across the country that support LGBTQ youth. Get all of the details on TAC’s website.
