The Front Bottoms Host Virtual Festival

todayDecember 11, 2020

Background

With the cold weather setting in, a good concert is just what the doctor ordered.  As the emo representative for RSU Radio, I’d say a virtual livestream featuring The Front Bottoms, Kississippi, and Sincere Engineer a day keeps the doctor away*.

The Champagne Jam airs December 18th at 7 pm.  Tickets are available through the Champagne Jam website, and proceeds from the sales will go towards supporting Planned Parenthood, Feeding America, and 1% for the Planet.

The concert typically takes place in-person and is presented by The Front Bottoms.  Rather than cancelling, the band moved forward with a digital event.  Let’s go over a few of the jam’s performers.

Bad Bad Hats are bringing their cool alt-rock vibe to the livestream. Check out “Automatic” below:

After releasing Born Hot last year, Chris Farren is joining the stream.  Study up on his self-aware sound with “Search 4 Me”.

Indie giants Grouplove released Healer earlier this year and have had a few follow up singles. We’ll kick it back to the early 2010’s with “Tongue Tied”.

The Front Bottoms, longtime emotive indie band, will be playing the festival.  Their latest record In Sickness and In Flames came out this year and featured single “camouflage”.

Featured artists include Sincere Engineer, Kississippi, Brother Bird, Chloe Moriondo, and more.
