RSU Radio’s Top 10 Countdown — 1/29/21

It’s the last top 10 countdown of January and we have some interesting new developments on the board! For starters, the previous two-week running top artist, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, has dropped to the tenth spot on the list, and instead of being overtaken by The Avalanches as I had predicted, Easter Island jumped over them from the third spot to take the crown.

There are a few new artists on the list, too–new name Tigers Jaw makes it all the way to the second spot in one go, and we see Slaughter Beach, Dog of last week’s up & coming spot make it onto the actual list. Along with that, two babes–Babe Club and Babeheaven–have made it onto the rankings.

Yukon Blonde has dropped to the honorable mention spot alongside the new up & coming artist of the week, Red Vox off of their new album Realign.
