SXSW Announces Artists For Virtual Festival

COVID has grounded each and every festival over the past few months, and many music festivals have adapted by going online. Austin festival SXSW is joining the digital trend after the pandemic caused last year’s festival to be canceled last-minute.

Today SXSW has announced the initial lineup of artists who will play as a part of the 2021 music portion. The exciting roster of acts includes Sorry, Braids, Squid, Paul Jacobs (Pottery), Pillow Queens, PVA, Katy J Pearson and dozens more. The artists will be performing from venues in their home countries, and you can watch the fest from the web, mobile and the SXSW Online Connected TV app that works through Apple TV, Roku, Fire TV and other services.
