Easter Island Music Festival Eyes 2022 Return

Easter Island Music Festival, the eclectic Northeastern Oklahoma fest centered around a variety of music styles, art, and culture, have announced another year without the festival. In a statement released via email and social media, organizers addressed the idea of a festival this year.

“We wanted to give everyone an update and let you know that we are thinking about you and the festival. Our plan is to postpone Easter Island Festival until 2022. Because of the time it takes to plan EIF, we just do not have enough year left to make it happen in 2021.”

With music festivals split on whether they will host events in 2021 or not, many vaccinated concert goers are watching eagerly to see if their favorite event will take place this year. Fests like Bonnaroo and Governors Ball plan to make their returns this year, while others like Coachella and SXSW shoot for early 2022 returns.
