Samantha Crain – I Guess We Live Here Now

Okmulgee-bred folk savant Samantha Crain released new EP I Guess We Live Here Now. After sharing a couple of singles, the full effort has finally seen the light of day. Sitting in at four tracks, it’s a short and sweet soundtrack for the spring.

Combsy – Roche Balve

Tulsa guitarist, composer, and producer Chris Combs released Roche Balve late last monthThe record was recorded in Switzerland at the Jazzwerkstatt Bern festival back in 2013. With influences like Charles Mingus, Duke Ellington, and Ornette Coleman, this record is a jazz extravaganza like no other. Roche Balve fuses orchestral strings and horns with a lively rhythm section, providing a dynamic effort complete with Combs’ steel guitar.

Hotel Nights – Perfume

Continue the jazz vibes with the latest Hotel Nights single “Perfume.” This smokey slow-burner is accented with sultry sax. If you’re feeling stressed, consider “Perfume” a perfect reprieve.
