New in Latin Music: Enrique Iglesias, The Marías, Los Retros and more

The Marías released a remix version of their song “Hush” with Still Woozy. The song, “Hush” was originally released as a lead single as part of their debut album “CINEMA” that was released earlier this year.

The song “Baila Asi” features Play-N-Skillz, Becky G, Thalia and Chiquis. Play-N-Skillz sampled the song from the cumbia classic “La Gallina”. The song is still true to the original but has a reggaeton beat.

R.K.M & Ken-Y released a remake version of one of their songs with Harry Digital. The song is called “Una Noche Mas” (One More Night) and was released as a 2021 remake of the single released in 2019.

Los Retros released his first ever Spanish song called “Solo Tu”. Los Retros new track, is a love song to his wife with the instrumental inspired by 70’s Romantica bands.

Enrique Iglesias had previously announced that he was releasing a new album, but that it may be his last. Iglesias first made his debut in the mid nineties, and he has been making music for more than 25 years. Released on September 17th called “FINAL (Vol. 1)”, the 11 track album contains previously released songs and new ones.

The album contains features with Myke Towers, Farruko, Desemer Bueno, Zion & Lennox, Wisin, Bad Bunny, Pitbull, and Nicky Jam. The second volume of the album is set to possibly be his last album. He is, however, still set on continuing to be a songwriter and possibly releasing singles – not albums.

Enrique Iglesias is set to go on tour on September 25th with Ricky Martin.
