The Play Tulsa Music recovery program was launched in September of last year with funding from the Tulsa County CARES act. $190,000 was dispersed among 26 venues in Tulsa County, supporting over 700 local, live performances. The funding benefitted performing musicians, as well as the tech positions that help make live performances happen. Since July 1st, more than 600 live performances have been made possible by Play Tulsa Music 2021 leveraging $100,000 in funds.
