Animal Collective Are Back

Animal Collective have announced their first new record in six years, Time Skiffs. The album will release February 4 and it will follow up 2016’s Painting With. They shared the first peek of the new record today titled “Prester John” which also comes with a video. The new single sees the band taking a more subdued approach to their usual jamboree of energetic pop noises. Sink right into the psychedelic melodies and lovely harmonies of “Prester John” below.

Along with a new album, Animal Collective have also announced a new nationwide tour. It includes dates in Detroit, Chicago, and Minneapolis, but no dates in Oklahoma or Texas yet. Check out the full tour below.
