With the Billboard Latin Music Awards finished, many new songs were featured at the award show and here are just a few.
Premiered at the Billboard Latin Music Awards, Christian Nodal and Banda MS of Sergio Lizarraga feature on the lovesick mariachi-infused banda song called “La Sinverguenza”. The music video features a cameo from Christian’s fiancée, Belinda, who also directed the music video.
Christian started his tour, “Botella Tras Botella” on September 14th.
Mana collaborated with Mabel on the song “El Reloj Cucu”. The song was written by Fher Olvera in the 90’s and was part of the 1995 album called “Cuando Los Ángeles Lloran” (When the Angels Cry). The band invited twelve-year-old Mabel to be a part of the new version of the song. Mabel also joined Mana at the Latin Music Week for the ‘Inside the Soul of the Artist‘ Panel where it honored single mothers.
Mana was also honored at the Billboard Latin Music Awards with the Icon Award.
Carlos Rivera and Reik premiered the ballad “Cuantas Veces” (How Many Times) at the Billboard Latin Music Awards. The song was composed by Carlos Rivera and Pablo Preciado from the band Matisse. The music video was filmed at Mexico City’s Parque Bicentenario.
Disney Plus Latin America announced that Carlos Rivera is set to release his four part Documentary called ‘Carlos Rivera: Crónicas de una Guerra’. The Documentary will show behind the scenes to his 100th show in Argentina.
KAROL G released a hard-hitting reggaeton single called “SEJODIOTO”. The song is about a girl who is enjoying being single. The music video shows KAROL G dancing and having fun with her friends. During the Billboard Latin Music Awards KAROL G won the Hot Latin Songs Female Artist of the Year and Top Latin Album Female Artist of the Year.
Natti Natasha and Maluma feature on the reggaeton song, “Imposible Amor” (Impossible Love). The song is about a couple realizing that their relationship is toxic. The song will also feature on Natti’s sophomore album, “NattiVidad”, released on September 24th. The name of the album is a mash-up of Natti’s name and her daughter’s, Vida Isabelle. The album contains 16 songs and includes collaborations with Becky G on the song “Ram Pam Pam”, “Antes Que Salga El Sol” with Prince Royce, and Cazzu, Farina, and La Duraca on the song “Noches En Miami“.
