At 23 years old, Kelli Mayo has experienced more of the music industry than many twice her age. The Washington by way of Oklahoma band Skating Polly started playing music when Kelli and her step-sister Peyton were just 9 and 14 years old. They has grown both personally and sonically in their 14 years playing music. On May 17 Tip spoke with Kelli about their upcoming album, touring, growing up playing music, and their connection with punk legend Exene Cervenka.
