Central Library is Offering Bite-Sized Music Performances

Background

The Tulsa City-Country Library (TCCL) has announced the return of its live performance series called “Music Sandwiched In.” Starting June 9, a local artist will perform at the Aaronson Auditorium at Central Library every other Monday at noon. These small performances each last fifty minutes, so be sure to stop by on your lunch break!

Performers:

  • June 9: Don Ryan, jazz pianist, Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame Inductee
  • June 23: Sam Briggs, grand prize winner of Signature Symphony’s Tulsa Sings
  • July 8: Lorelei Barton, harpist, former creator and artistic director of the Midwest Harp Academy
  • July 22: Janet Rutland, vocalist, veteran performer of vintage jazz, pop, and country music

“Music Sandwiched In” is one of many programs included in TCCL’s 2025 Summer Reading Program. Other programs include craft nights, book clubs, and yoga experiences.
