Healing Starts with a Conversation
Welcome back to another edition of RSU Radio’s Top 10 Countdown! This week’s list has some familiar faces and some big changes. We’re pleased to see Oklahoma native and Tulsa resident, Unwed Sailor, taking the #10 spot this week with his album Cruel Entertainment, as well as two new artists: Tune Yard and Panda Bear. Japanese Breakfast moves down a couple spots but is holding strong with For Melancholy Brunettes (and Sad Women). Tunde Adebimpe’s Thee Black Boltz claws its way from last week’s #7 to this week’s #1, followed closely by Car Seat Headrest’s The Scholars and Mamalarky’s Hex Key.
As is the nature of competition,a lot of bands got the boot this week. Momma’s Welcome to My Blue Sky and Black Country, New Road’s Forever Howlong give up their spots at the top, and we said farewell to a few names you might know.
This week, your Artist to Keep an Eye Out For is Adult Mom with their new album Natural Causes.
